During a family cruise in February 2001, an unexpected turn led me to an unforeseen career path: honeymoon planning. Imagine a meticulously planned voyage for a family of six—except I hadn’t accounted for the unpredictable teen factor.
In St. Thomas, our journey veered unexpectedly when our son injured his ankle, prompting a swift return to the ship. St. Martin repeated the the ankle mishap, while Barbados challenged us with vanishing snorkel masks, leaving only fins surviving!
But wait, there’s more! St. Lucia brought on car sickness among the younger crew—another return to the ship ensued. Antigua, oh Antigua! The cramped back seat holding 4 kids sparked a teen rebellion. By San Juan, our teens staged a historic revolt.
Yet, amid the chaos, Puerto Rico became a paradise. Our final days there were pure joy, as the kids embraced the freedom of a schedule-less existence, reveling in our hotel and the ocean. It was heavenly—a revelation that sparked an idea.
That parental epiphany led to my entrepreneurial journey: a romance travel company minus the teenage escapades. Crafting blissful getaways without the teenage drama? Pure magic, wouldn’t you agree?
After completing travel courses, my husband and I ventured into establishing My Honeymoon Planner. We immerse ourselves in exploring captivating destinations and carefully tailoring unique itineraries for honeymoon couples.

Hello. I'm Jenn,
I have been in love with travel since my college days, when I spent 2 weeks in Puerto Rico and was enamored by it’s different and unique culture and beauty from what I had ever experienced. I was enticed to explore many other Caribbean islands in the next few years, staying in the Bahamas and Barbados several times, and cruising all over the Southern, Eastern, and Western Caribbean and Mexico.
For my honeymoon, I wanted to experience a very remote part of the world, one that I may never be able to experience again, due to distance and life commitments. We flew to Tahiti and spent time on many of the Polynesian Islands- Bora Bora, Moorea, and Raiatea. We crossed the equator and visited extremely remote Christmas Island, then traveled to the Hawaiian Islands- Oahu, Hilo, Maui, and Kauai.
After starting a family, I wanted my kids to have the same love I had for travel, so I brought them into the Caribbean several times and then abroad. They really fell in love during our trip to Italy. Rome and Sicily were their favorites in their life because of the range of languages, food, historical experiences, and beautifully unique land and seascapes. I am delighted to help others experience the same wonder and amazement through travel; through my own experiences as well as my desire to continue learning about and experiencing so many more destinations throughout the world.
